INTRODUCTION:

With the advent of the new media, increasingly, the Arts have been given greater attention, greater importance. Indeed, Arts education is a pathway to creativity and innovation. It opens up our imagination and unleashes our innermost creative energies. It is also a universal language that transcends cultural differences and geographical boundaries. As such, we aim to achieve the following.

MISSION:

Provide an environment where students can explore, experience, and express Arts spontaneously.

VISION:

Nurture every child to become a gracious and informed audience of the Arts.

In the classroom, students will:

• Explore creative thinking routines that help them wonder, question, and make connections.

• Learn to give and receive peer feedback in simple, constructive ways, building confidence and collaboration.

• Reflect on their own growth through digital Art portfolios, making their learning journey visible.

• Take part in inquiry-based projects that encourage them to ask questions and nurture their creativity through art and music.

Beyond the classroom, students will have the opportunity to:

• Showcase their talents termly during recess

• Experience diverse cultures and art forms through music and art, helping them appreciate traditions and perspectives from around the world.

• Applying their skills in real-world projects—from designing logos to composing soundscapes and writing songs.

Through these experiences, children don’t just learn techniques; they develop resilience, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the arts. Most importantly, they discover the joy of learning and the power of self-expression.
