School Profile
West Grove Primary School's history, vision and mission.
School History
West Grove Primary School was established in 2001 at 1 Jurong West Street 72, beginning its journey with 33 teachers and 950 students. The school was officially opened in 2003 and, over the years, has grown alongside the Jurong West community, building a strong foundation in providing a holistic education for generations of West Grovians.
As the school grew, so did the learning experiences and opportunities offered to our students. In 2010, West Grove celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of growth and shared achievements. The school introduced its Learning for Life Programme in the Arts in 2014 and transitioned to a single-session school in 2016, creating new possibilities for learning and student development.
Across the years, West Grove has continued to evolve while remaining anchored in our motto, Wisdom and Grace. Each generation of students, staff, families and partners has contributed to the story of the school and the community we have become.
Today, West Grove continues its journey with our vision, Active Minds, Gracious Hearts, and a mission centred on fostering innovation and excellence within a caring learning community, where collaboration among school, family and partners empowers every child to flourish. As we celebrate 25 years in 2026, we honour the people and experiences that have shaped our past while looking ahead to new heights, new hopes and new dreams for generations of West Grovians to come.
